We are currently experiencing a boom in both domestic and foreign investments in the mining industry. Several new mines are expected to commence production in the coming years and apart from the well-known copper, iron ore and zinc, nickel and vanadium mines are about to be granted permits for excavation, something that is new to Sweden.
