Nordic Energy Delegation to Nigeria

Scaling up energy investments in Nigeria
- sustainable solutions from the Nordic countries

The Swedish Trade Council, in cooperation with the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, is organizing a Nordic Trade Delegation to Nigeria from the 18th to 22th of October 2010 in cooperation with the Embassies of  Norway and Finland. The first two days will be dedicated to meetings in Abuja followed by a day of site visits and matchmaking.
 
The delegation will be hosted by the Federal Ministry of Power which will give the Nordic investors, consultants and suppliers a unique possibility to be introduced to concrete business opportunities. Main focus will be on:
  • hydropower
  • renewable- and thermal energy
  • bio- and waste-to-energy projects
  • transmission and distribution lines

During the visit, projects in each sector with concrete business opportunities will be presented. The programme will include:

  • high level meetings
  • field visits
  • matchmaking business-to-business meetings
    within hydro, thermal, waste, other renewable sources, transmission and distribution.
