The Canadian District energy Association, CDEA, will host 2012 year’s conference in June 2012 in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. The Swedish Trade Council organizes, in addition to CDEA’s conference, an extended program for a limited number of Swedish companies and city representative/policy makers who wish to explore business opportunities in the Canadian market. The Swedish participants will work on existing energy challenges in the capital region together with their Canadian counterparts in order to create strong business ties with decision makers and potential business partners.
CDEA’s conference is known to offer a deep technical level as well as policy oriented sessions why the conference typically is attended by regulators, city planners, and government agency staff as well as industry technology and business experts, engineering and development professionals, and leaders from the district energy utility industry. Both Sweden and Denmark are seen as role models within the district energy sector and participations from the Nordic countries are always welcomed and appreciated during the conference.
