The Swedish Trade Council can help Swedish companies establish a subsidiary in the U.S. 

Establishing a foreign subsidiary is one of the most important steps a company can take in entering a market. A U.S. subsidiary demonstrates a commitment to the market, provides greater flexibility in working with U.S. customers, vendors and partners, and provides a strong footing on which to grow. The Swedish Trade Council provides an incorporation services to its Swedish clients to ensure the smooth creation of a U.S. subsidiary.

The incorporation process begins with a careful outlining of the considerations: Deciding on a state to incorporate in; determining the operational purposes of the subsidiary; coming up with the name and corporate board; and more. As the decisions are made, documents are collected and drafted into incorporation documents to the U.S. state of interest (companies can qualify to do business in multiple states—another important consideration).

At the end of the process (4-6 weeks) the Swedish company will have a federal tax ID and a corporate U.S. entity.
