The Swedish Trade Council in Japan assists Swedish companies wanting to establish themselves, or grow, on the Japanese market. We have been present since 1965 and have our office in Tokyo.

At our office, 14 of our 16 employees are native Japanese and we have a very solid knowledge of the country’s industry. Our expertise includes areas such as IT & telecommunications, automotive, steel and metal and wood industry, transportation, biotech, pharmaceuticals, design and consumer products.

Our local presence provides us with a unique knowledge of the market. We know the language and the business culture and we have over time built up a well-developed network, experience and detailed local knowledge.

We can make it easier for you in all phases of your export plans, from the moment any issues might arise to questions regarding practical establishment support.
