Swedish Sustainable Business in China, SSB

With a small domestic market, many Swedish companies venture into international markets to attain sustainable growth. Companies are expected to act in accordance with internationally accepted norms and principles on e.g labour law, sustainable development and anti-corruption, to which Sweden has committed itself.

Swedish Sustanable Business in China (SSB) is a 3 year program at the Swedish Trade Council in China. The program covers sourcing, environment and CSR. SSB is a platform for dialogue and sharing of experience between Swedish companies sourcing in China and their suppliers.

Within SSB meetings, seminars and workshops are arranged for exchange of experience between Swedish and Chinese enterprises in cooperation with well-known Chinese and Swedish universities.

The Swedish Trace Council and the Consulate General of Sweden are operating the program together with Shanghai International Sourcing Promotion Center. Our goal is to achieve long term sustainable business between Swedish and Chinese entreprises.
