Cambodia’s average annual growth of as much as 9 percent is among the highest in the world considering the last decade. Growth due to exports and foreign direct investments (FDI) has increased rapidly. So far, China and South Korea have been the countries that have contributed the most with direct investments in the country. The macro-economic steps to achieve this have been an open economy and a controlled inflation.
