The forum was divided into three different panel discussions with various stakeholders within district cooling. During the panel discussions, representatives presented a case or issue with the main focus on the future of district cooling. After the presentations were made, all participants partook in the subsequent discussions. The purpose with the forum was to give the representatives from France and Sweden a platform for new potential business partnerships, the possibility to benchmark and to exchange ideas, findings and challenges regarding the district cooling market.
A total of 50 representatives participated: top management and a delegation from France’s largest district cooling & heating operator - CPCU & Climespace, leading Swedish cooling operators and companies such as Fortum, Göteborg Energi, Alfa Laval, Capital Cooling, Ekofektiv, Logstor and Mittel Fjärrvärme discussed and showcased their solutions, services and products within district cooling. Ulrika Jarfelt, CEO of Swedish District Heating Association made an interesting introduction on the Swedish District Cooling market.
It was confirmed that Sweden and France have several similarities regarding regulations and challenges but also with different ideas and projects on how to respond to future challenges.
All participants expressed a positive attitude towards their partaking at the business forum and several collaborations were initiated during the forum between Swedish and French operators and suppliers.
