A French-Swedish seminar in collaboration with Grand Lyon and Business Region Gothenburg was held on the 22nd of June 2010 in the city hall of Grand Lyon. The conference was centered around the theme of sustainable development in urban areas and included the following three sub-themes: different sources of energy (eg. district heating, & cooling and biomass), urban transportation and city planning from a global perspective.
