On the 16 of June the Athens Office arranged a full-day seminar concerning “Traffic Safety”. We had approximately 150 visitors and the theme of the seminars were “Traffic Safety- Experiences and preferable solutions from the Swedish model”. The programme contained information about the situation on Traffic Safety in Greece, experiences of Road Safety in Sweden, Road Repair and Maintenance, product presentations for safety solutions, ITS in City Areas etc. National TV and Radio (Sky) and newspapers Drive and Car covered the event.
Mr. Themistoklis Xanthopoulos, Vice Minister of Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works in Greece We had the privilege of listening to the Greek Vice Minister Mr. Themistoklis Xanthopoulos from the Misistry of Environment, Physical Planning & Public Works, and our other Greek speakers were Mr. Aggelos Rouchotas (OASA) and Mrs. Vasiliki Danelli-Milona (Institute of Traffic Safety- “Panos Mylonas”).
