The Swedish Institute Management Program

Executive management training for emerging leaders. Creative thinking and leadership focusing on human relations and the environment.

We live in the era of globalization characterized by high degree of interdependence and swift economic, socio-cultural and environmental changes. To succeed in rapidly evolving business world one has to be able to find profitable solutions acceptable out of societal and environmental perspective. As a result the demand for leaders with high transformation, adaptation and innovation capacity is growing fast.

To meet new challenges, the Swedish Institute, at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has launched a special Management Program under the name Successful Business through Corporate Social Responsibility. The program is carried out in collaboration with Novare Act and offers a unique combination of theory and practice with the focus on practical part.  The core of the curriculum constitutes advanced, business-related problem-solving, seminars and meetings with prominent figures in the commercial, political and cultural fields, and company visits.

The ultimate goal of the training is to build up an international robust network of emerging leaders who can strengthen relations and business ties between the participating  countries and Sweden in the years to come.

The participants - highly educated and internationally oriented - are rising stars in senior managerial positions within trade and industry as well as public sector. This year they come from Belarus, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Sweden.
The Swedish Institute Management Program aims at bringing together individuals of remarkable accomplishments in their mid-career to challenge their approaches, reinforce professional skills, deepen cross-cultural perspectives and unite them in a long lasting and active network. The training is designed to make the most of common strengths, future potential and the rapid growth that the participating countries are experiencing - with corporate social responsibility as the overall theme.
