The Swedish Trade Council arranged three Technology Workshops in Switzerland during the spring of 2009 with the objective of increasing the cooperation between Swedish and Swiss researchers, universities and research institutions. The workshops were arranged in close cooperation with both Swiss and Swedish institutions and authorities. The workshops lead to several new contacts as well as improving already established contacts amongst the researchers.
EMPA together with the Swedish Embassy, The Swedish Research Council, Vinnova, The Swedish Trade Council and Saab arranged a lunch-lunch workshop with presentations and bilateral meetings around potential joint research projects. Around 40 people from around 20 institutions took part in the workshop.
The Swedish Embassy in Berne, Vinnova (Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems), The Knowledge Foundation, The Swedish Trade Council, NCCR Co-Me (National Centre of Competence in Research around Computer Aided and Image Guided Medical Interventions) and Saab AB arranged a workshop with presentations and bilateral meetings around potential joint research projects. Approx. 45 people from around 20 institutions took part in the workshop.
The Swedish Embassy in Berne, Vinnova (Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems), the Swedish Trade Council, the Swedish Defense Material Agency (FMV), Saab AB and CSEM (the Swiss Centre for Electronics and Microtechnology, Inc) arranged a workshop with presentations and bilateral meetings around potential joint research projects. Approx. 50 people from around 30 institutions took part in the workshop.
