The Swedish Trade Council in Hungary supports Swedish companies wanting to establish themselves, or grow, on the Hungarian market. We have been present since 1971 and today we have our office in Budapest. Hungary is a country with a well-trained workforce and a strategic geographical position. Since the country’s entry into the EU in 2004, major changes have occurred in several areas, including the modernization of infrastructure, environment and agriculture. Further investment is to be expected, thanks to the 22.4 billion Euros that are available via the EU's Aid and Structural Funds up until 2013. The development will therefore continue and the Swedish Trade Council sees good business opportunities for Swedish companies in several sectors as in. e.g. electronics, automotive and research. Our local presence provides us with a unique knowledge of the market. We know the language and the business culture and we have over time built up a well-developed network, experience and detailed local knowledge. We can make it easier for you in all phases of your export plans, from the moment any issues might arise to questions regarding practical establishment support. And we have several different solutions. For us, nothing is out of the ordinary, if it enables us to offer your company tools to develop itself even further!Welcome to our office!
