Smart metering is a hot topic in Hungary today, as the Energy Office is expected to publish a directive similar to Sweden’s during next year. The utility companies are already preparing by starting up pilot projects.
The Swedish Trade Council and the Embassy of Sweden organized a conference on the 18th November 2010 where Hungarian utility companies and authorities got the chance to hear about best practices and lessons learned from Swedish companies and Smart metering experts.
For invited Swedish companies this was an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Hungarian market and to establish new contacts with the most important potential clients and partners.
